REQUEST FOR COMPILATION OF AN MSDS

Note that at this stage a full formulation need not be divulged. Substances which need to be disclosed in an MSDS will have an OEL &/or be listed in the EC Approved List (CHIPS3) or SANS.10265. MSDSs compiled by EcoChem are intended to be used for Occupational Health & purposes and are not a specification or data sheet. Only information pertinent to the safe use and transport of a substance or preparation will be given.
The MSDS will only reflect items as greater or less than the CHIP3 limits. All substances with an OEL, if pertinent, will need to be disclosed but actual content will not be given unless such items are listed inn CHIP3. If these factors are not known and you do not wish to disclose content to EcoChem show them below and we will advise you of the applicable limits.
Note that generic descriptions must be used or copies of MSDSs will be needed e.g. Beckosol P470 would be a "Drying oil alkyd 70% in Mineral Spirits"
Due to the solvent requirements in CHIP3 ensure that your supplier has given the correct %age of Benzene (C6H6) and n-Hexane.
The information will be sent to you by email in *.DOC format so that minor alterations can be done. Note - the client remains responsible for the final document. Every effort will be made to ensure that information is correct but no guarantees can be given.
